The JPRC is leading a study for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to examine the relationship between the justice system and health equity. The project will utilize a comprehensive literature review and interviews with research, policy, and practice experts to better understand how the juvenile and adult justice systems create or exacerbate health inequities for certain racial, ethnic, and other groups. The goal of the project is to develop a research agenda to guide further investigation and empirical studies.
