“Research and Evaluation on School Safety: An Evaluation of State School Safety Centers” is designed to examine the history, characteristics, structure, and activities of State School Safety Centers (SSSCs) and identify perceived impacts. SSSCs were designed to facilitate school safety in their respective states. The project will utilize a variety of data sources including surveys, interviews, and implementation data. The study will highlight practices and models for replication, expansion, and evaluation by developing a framework to facilitate the development and improvement of SSSCs. The study also aims to foster more intentional development and coordination to improve local efforts to address school safety.
