Our work involves conducting community-grounded, policy-relevant, and methodologically sound research studies, evaluations, and technical assistance projects with a range of partners, including government agencies, foundations, academic faculty and researchers, practitioners, and community members. See our list of funders below.

Research and Evaluation

We conduct research and evaluation studies using a broad range of methods, including:

  • process, implementation, and impact evaluations
  • systematic reviews and meta-analyses of existing studies
  • qualitative data analyses
  • quantitative analyses, including using secondary data sets
  • scans of current practice and policy

Technical Assistance

We also provide technical assistance in a collaborative and dynamic fashion to help policymakers and practitioners implement evidence-based programs or overcome challenges in their work.

Whether through research and evaluation or through technical assistance, the Justice & Prevention Research Center is a trusted source of evidence-based information that helps our clients make better choices in their work.
